Digiridoo Scraps will be celebrating DSD this coming Saturday, 6 November!

Speed Scraps! Sunday 6 June (for more dates, see separate post)

I'll be hosting 2 speed scraps at Digiridoo Scraps on Sunday, 6th June:

Speed Scrap no. 1 HERE at 4 pm EDT. This translates to:

• - Los Angeles: 2 am
• - New York: 5 am
• - Melbourne: 7 pm
• - London: 10 am
• - Geneva: 11 am
• - Johannesburg: 11 am
• - Dubai: 1 pm

Unless you're a night owl, this time is more suitable to Europe/Australia/Asia/Pacific then the Americas.

Speed Scrap no. 2 HERE at 5 am EDT. This translates to:

• - Los Angeles: 1 pm
• - New York: 4 pm
• - Melbourne: 6 am (Monday)
• - London: 9 pm
• - Geneva: 10 pm
• - Johannesburg: 10 pm
• - Dubai: midnight

Unless you're an early bird, this time is more suitable to Europe and the Americas.

Speed Scraps at Digiridoo Scraps

As part of the first anniversary celebrations at Digiridoo Scraps, there'll be plenty of speed scraps this week. Here are the dates:

• Caryn (Color with Caryn) will host a speed scrap HERE on Wednesday, 2 June at 9 pm EDT (8 pm CDT, 7 pm MDT, 6 pm PDT).

• Beth will host a speed scrap on Thursday 3 June at 9 pm EDT (8 pm CDT, 7 pm MDT, 6 pm PDT).

• Bree will host a speed scrap on Friday 4 June at 9 pm EDT (8 pm CDT, 7 pm MDT, 6 pm PDT, 11 am (Saturday) Melbourne.

• Kelly will host a speed scrap on Saturday 5 June at 10 pm EDT (9 pm CDT, 8 pm MDT, 7 pm PDT), noon (Sunday) in Melbourne.

• Marianne will host a speed scrap on Saturday 5 June at 2 pm EDT (that's 1 pm CDT, noon MDT, 8 pm Geneva, 10 pm Dubai, 4 am (Sunday) Melbourne.

• Wilma will host a speed scrap HERE on Sunday 6 June at 5 am EDT (4 am CDT, 3 am MDT, 2 am PDT), 7 pm Melbourne, 11 am Geneva, 1 pm Dubai (suits Europe, Australia and Pacific).

• Wilma will host a speed scrap HERE on Sunday 6 June at 4 pm EDT (3 pm CDT, 2 pm MDT, 1 pm PDT), 10 pm Geneva, midnight Dubai (suits Europe and the Americas).

• Sarah B will host a speed scrap on Monday 7 June at 9 pm EDT (8 pm CDT, 7 pm MDT, 6 pm PDT), 11 am (Tuesday) Melbourne.

• Elin will host a speed scrap on Monday 7 June at 1 pm EDT (12 pm CDT, 11 am MDT, 10 am PDT), 7 pm Oslo, 3 am (Tuesday) Melbourne.

August ...

Pffff .... August has been a busy (but fun-filled) month! We had house guests most of the month and I spent more time behind a supermarket trolley and in the kitchen than behind the computer screen. Despite all our good intentions, the Princess and I didn't get to do all the Digiridoo scrapping challenges we were planning to do, mostly because it was way too hot to spend a lot of time in the computer room. Too bad, because there were some great challenges!

I wasn't entirely idle though :-)

The month started off with a Speed Scrap I got to host ... exciting business as I had never done that before. It's actually not that simple to come up with instructions :-) but I think I managed ... Unbelievably, some of the Aussie girls set their alarm clocks to join the challenge (which was 6 a.m. their time). Thank you girls! That was a really nice thing to do!

Here's the original and some of the layouts the girls made from my instructions. I think they did rather well and the LO's are just gorgeous.

Then there was Vicki's Scraplift Challenge ... she picked out a great LO by Beckyandjames. Here's what I did with it. The Princess worked on hers too, but never finished it though.

And then there was Marilyn's Book Of Me challenge. I had not participated before, but had an LO I did some time ago that I thought would fit the challenge greatly. The theme for August, music with a meaning, made for quite some discussions :-)

Check out the Book of Me gallery for some more great LO's on the "music with meaning" theme! It makes for great seeing and reading!

And finally, the Photo Challenge, also hosted by Marilyn. The theme for August was "water" and my entry was picked for me by The Princess:
